With a technical foundation in sculpture and painting from The Academy of Art University, Adam brings a unique and deeply intuitive approach to hairstyling - one that explores the interplay of structure and spontaneity, surrealism and reality, individuality and collective expression.
Widely known for his creative precision and editorial expertise, Adam’s career was profoundly shaped during his formative apprenticeship with legendary hairstylist Guido Palau, gaining rare access to the inner workings of top-tier fashion shows and campaigns across the globe.
Adam draws inspiration from a rich tapestry of influences - painting, sculpture, architecture, performance, music, and poetry serve as constant sources of creative energy. His work extends beyond traditional hair styling, in his New York studio, Adam continuously experiments with new materials and techniques, pushing boundaries and exploring the intersection of art and beauty through fearless creative exploration. This dynamic environment fosters constant innovation and fuels his evolving artistic vision.
Adam has worked alongside photographers and stylists such as Lachlan Bailey, Juergen Teller, Wolfgang Tillmans, Grey Sorrenti, Mark Kean, Stef Mitchell, Roe Ethridge, Fabien Kruszelnicki, Tanya & Zhenya Posternak, Olivier Rizzo, Paul Sinclaire, and Carlos Nazario, amongst others.
